Functioning as an entry-level wine of the estate and a mix of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, aging in 50% new barrels, the 2020 Parabellum Alluvio boasts a healthy purple hue to go with complex notes of lavender, chocolate, peppery herbs, and both red and blue fruits. This medium to full-bodied, pure, concentrated red has ripe tannins, terrific balance, and a great finish. 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, and 9% Petit Verdot.
