A single-varietal Tempranillo made with grapes from different vineyards located in the municipalities of Moradillo de Roa, La Horra, Roa, and Gumiel de Izán. These vineyards have varying ages and soil compositions, making the wine complex in itself. A powerful, characterful wine that, upon tasting, showcases the great typicity of this grape and this region. Aged in 300-liter oak barrels. Displays an intense, deep cherry-red color. It has a very good color depth and is surprisingly lively when swirled in the glass. A nose with great intensity and, above all, complexity. Aromas of red fruit are the first to appear in the glass, followed by hints of black fruit, floral aromas, and, as we aerate the glass, the contributions of aging begin to emerge, with touches of spice, roasted notes, cocoa, fine woods… a very well-balanced whole. This is a powerful wine on the palate, with a surprisingly fresh attack that hints at a full-bodied mouthfeel. Elegant and silky, it's a well-structured wine that undoubtedly deserves to be paired with a good dish to fully appreciate its potential.
A wine that, after tasting, deserves the rating of Excellent.
