A cherry red wine, bright, of medium-high intensity and with a good layer. In the glass you can see great aromatic intensity, with a lot of fruit, notes of cherry, sour cherry, blackberry and black plum. Too complex. Balanced, long in the mouth, structured and with volume. Very fine wood, not dominant. Sweet and varietal tannins despite its passage through the barrel. Very broad and silky in the mouth. Aftertaste that clearly recalls the fruit of the variety, complemented by the very balanced tannins of the barrel, light toasted touches.
The only slope in Amandi cultivated with the synergy of slate and granite soils. Repopulated with the original Mencias, the pure and authentic ones, rescued from the flooding of the Sil riverbed. Without rules or fashions, respect for tradition, typicity, the ecosystem and our philosophy means that this wine is only made in exceptional vintages.
