Bodegas Emilio Moro is one of the oldest leading quality producers in Ribera del Duero. They are a family winery that continues to develop in the traditional way, using inherited knowledge passed from generation to generation since its founding over 70 years ago. Today, the third and fourth generations are involved in the winery.

Malleolus is made from a selection of 100% Tinto Fino vines (aka Tempranillo) from some of the oldest vines, with ages ranging from 25–75 years. These vines are located in the highest elevation areas of the region, resulting in grapes that express the unique terroir of the area. The wine is rich, elegant, complex, powerful, structured, and full-bodied with silky tannins, bright acidity, and a long, spicy finish. The smooth palate rolls out flavors of blackberry, cassis, black plums, anise, cocoa powder, oak spice, leather, and balsamic. Pair with any roast or stew or with a steak.
