This outstanding Malbec is produced from 100+ year old vines. It was aged for 12 months in French Oak barrels. The result is a complex wine with cedary aromas that lead into flavors of plums, currant, and berries. It is well balanced, with soft tannins and an elegant finish.
“A very assertive play of oak delivers plenty of immediately complex spice, played across bell peppers, violets, blueberries, and graphite. So much on offer here. The palate is wrapped in rich, smooth-honed tannin and has a deep, intense feel and a ripe, mouth-filling, red-plum finish.” – 91 Points, James Suckling
