New name, same essence. Made with Verdejo grapes from old vineyards, this wine is aged in new French oak barrels. After fermentation, 12 months on its own lees with frequent batonnages, and then a further month in stainless steel tanks on lees for fining. The process ends with a rest period of 13 months in the bottle.
Characterized by a honeyed tone with greenish glints, La Garza is an expressive wine with notes of ripe stone fruit and toasted nuances reminiscent of wood and nuts. On the palate, it is defined as an unctuous wine, with balanced acidity and a surprisingly oily finish.
