A blend of 30% cabernet franc and 70% cabernet sauvignon, all from vineyards planted in 2002 close to where the Andean foothills begin. This red has the areas pronounced aromas and flavors of mint, black fruits, and a mild earthy sensation that adds complexity. This is from a warm season, and you can feel that in the alcohol and in the warmth that radiates into the flavors, although the structure is firm, and the acidity is energetic enough to lend balance.
