Fans of Classified Growth estate Domaine de Chevalier would love this Rosé made by Olivier Bernard, whose family has been in charge of the estate since 1983. This special Rosé has been produced in the last 25 years using the saignee method from highly selected Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Since the 2009 vintage, a new philosophy has been implemented. Olivier Bernard has decided focusing on paler color, greater acidity and more intense aromas. To symbolize this change of style, he has also redesigned the bottle, so as to reflect the elegance and the modernity of his Rosés.
Subtle, delicate and refined nose with rose aromas and small red fruits, such as raspberry. A pleasant touch of exoticism reminds lychee. On the palate, smoothness, sweetness and freshness seduce. Intense fruitiness, precision and a very pure finish. An exquisite pleasure.
