Château Jalousie-Beaulieu was established in 1910 when winegrower and barrelmaker Pierre Auguste Duporge acquired 20 hectares of fragmented vineyards, then known as "Jalousy". By 1930, Pierre and his son Fernand unified and expanded the vineyard to 35 hectares. Over the next 70 years, the property — now known as Jalousie-Beaulieu — grew to 160 hectares. Today, the estate is run by the father and son team of Philippe and Pierre Person — representing the fifth and sixth generation — where they sustainably farm 200 hectares planted to Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Sauvignon Blanc on clay-limestone soils (Level 3 HVE).

Château Jalousie-Beaulieu's Cuvée Prestige pours a deep, dark ruby red, expressing bold aromas of ripe black fruits tinged with notes of bittersweet chocolate and espresso. The palate is dense and rich displaying unravelling flavors of cassis and Marasca cherries. This wine is extremely well-balanced, offering firm, but well-integrated tannins that ferry the dark fruits to a lengthy, complex finish. A perfect match for grilled meats… Try it with an expertly-grilled bone-in ribeye crusted with bleu cheese and balsamic shallots.
